The Vent Filter protects RO (reverse osmosis) water stored in 30/60/100 PE storage tanks against airborne contaminants. The filter consists of two 0.65 μm hydrophobic membrane discs for particle and bacterial retention. The storage filter cartridges are constructed from polypropylene, polyethersulfone (PES), and styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) resin. It is designed for use with PE storage tanks fed by RO (Type 3) water from RiOs™, RiOs™ Essential, Direct-Q®, and Milli-Q® Direct water purification systems.
