This replacement mercury-free ech2o® UV lamp photo-oxidatizes organic contaminants using xenon excimer (excited dimer) technology, emitting at 172 nm wavelength. The water treated by this UV lamp is low in organic impurities and suitable for all organic-sensitive applications (e.g. HPLC, etc.). For use with Milli-Q® IQ 7000 and Milli-Q® IQ 7003/05/10/15 systems.
This photooxidation UV lamp is an important component of the A10® TOC Monitor. It photooxidizes organic carbon present in ultrapure water to support TOC monitoring. The lamp can be used with standalone A10® TOC monitors or with Milli-Q® systems containing a monitor (i.e. Milli-Q® Advantage/ Advantage A10 / Integral / Academic / Biocel / Element / Gradient / Synthesis, Century Milli-Q®, and Elix® 20-100). It should be replaced every 12 months.
