Overview
Millipak® Gold 0.22 μm sterile filter produces particulate- and bacteria-free pure water at the point of dispense of the Milli-Q® IQ 7000, Milli-Q® IQ 7003/05/10/15, Milli-Q® IX 7003/05/10/15, and Milli-Q® EQ 7000/08/16 water systems. The membrane consists of conical pores that allow the water to filter at a higher flow rate with low differential pressure. Product water can be used in a variety of laboratory applications, including cell culture and microbiology. The e-Sure tag for RFID connection with the E-POD® or Q-POD® dispenser enables full traceability and consumables status monitoring.
A sample aqueous extraction contains less than 0.5 EU/mL as determined by the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test.
Bacterial Retention
Samples were quantitatively retentive of a minimum Brevundimonas diminuta challenge concentration of 1 x 10⁷ CFU/cm² using ASTM® F838 methodology.
